Set out on your safari adventure after a hearty breakfast,
meet with a local representative/ guide for a comprehensive briefing on the
journey ahead. Afterward, set out on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire
National Park. Along the way, take in sweeping views of grassy plains dotted
with ancient baobab trees, pass by traditional Maasai villages, and spot
nomadic herders guiding their livestock. As you enter the park, you’ll be
welcomed by its iconic landscapes and abundant wildlife. Look out for the
majestic baobabs, elusive tree-climbing pythons, and the park’s famous herds of
African elephants—the largest in Tanzania. With luck, you may also glimpse
lions, leopards, and cheetahs during your game drive. Around midday, pause for
a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, then continue exploring the
park’s diverse terrain throughout the afternoon. As the sun sets, make your way
to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay.
