Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania!

Destination: Arusha City

Activities:

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or
Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari guide and transferred
to your hotel in Arusha for a well-deserved rest after your journey. Depending
on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity for a short cultural visit
or city tour before your safari briefing. Dinner will be served at the lodge,
giving you a chance to unwind and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight at
a comfortable midrange hotel such as Tulia Boutique Hotel or the Arusha Outpost
Lodge. Meals included.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park,

Destination: Tarangire National Park

Activities:
After breakfast, your journey begins as you head to Tarangire National Park, known for its dense elephant population and ancient baobab trees. You'll enjoy a full-day game drive in this beautifully diverse park, with chances to spot lions, giraffes, buffalo, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, and in the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge located just outside the park for dinner and overnight. Midrange lodging options include Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, Tarangire Simba Lodge, or Burunge Tented Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park,

Destination: Serengeti National Park

Activities:
On day three, you'll depart after an early breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you can choose to stop at a traditional Maasai Boma or the Olduvai Gorge archaeological site. Once in the Serengeti, you'll enjoy your first game drive in the Seronera region, home to abundant wildlife including big cats and large herbivore herds. You’ll spend the night at a midrange tented camp like Serengeti Tortilis Camp, Serengeti Heritage Camp, or similar. All meals included just in a luxurious style.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park,

Destination: Serengeti National Park

Activities:
Spend day four exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. You have the option of doing a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch or splitting your day into morning and afternoon game drives with a break at camp. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration, or follow predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action. For those seeking a truly unforgettable experience, a sunrise hot air balloon safari can be arranged (pre-booking required). You’ll return to your camp for dinner and overnight. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 5: Farewell Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area,

Destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Activities:
After breakfast and a final morning game drive in Serengeti, you’ll exit the park and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views along the way. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch and continue on to your lodge located either on the crater rim or in the nearby town of Karatu. This is a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the cooler highland climate. Midrange accommodation options include Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge, Ngorongoro Farm House, or Country Lodge Karatu. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to and Return to Arusha.

Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

Activities:

On your final day, you’ll rise early for a descent into the
breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the
densest concentration of wildlife in Africa, including the rare black rhino.
You’ll spend the morning game driving on the crater floor, followed by a picnic
lunch near a hippo pool. In the early afternoon, you’ll begin the drive back to
Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport, depending on your departure
schedule. If needed, an additional night in Arusha can be arranged. Breakfast
and lunch are included.
